RECORD NUMBER OF STUDENTS TO START 2012-2013 SCHOOL YEAR
A record 921 students will begin the 2012-2013 school year on Wednesday, August 15. Among those will be 246 freshmen coming from 60 different area zip codes. Among them are also 53 brothers of current students or alumni and 20 sons of Jesuit alumni.

TWO ATHLETES, TWO TEAMS SELECTED FOR ATHLETIC HALL OF HONOR
The fifth class was recently
selected for induction into the Strake Jesuit Athletic Hall of Honor.
This year’s class includes Patrick Devine ‘78, and Bill O’Brien ‘78, the
1977 Mile Relay Team and the 1998 Baseball Team. more

SOPHOMORE WINS BOYS TEXAS JUNIOR GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP
Jesuit
sophomore Ashton Radvansky '15 won the Boys Texas State Junior Title at
Horseshoe Bay in late July overcoming a 2-shot deficit on the last day.
He started off his round, in the second to last group, with a birdie on
No. 1, followed by 2 bogeys in three holes. He recovered, making
birdies on No's. 7 and 9 to go out in 35. more

REUNION WEEKEND SEPT. 28-30
Reunion Weekend 2012 for the classes
of '67, '72, '77, '82, '87, '92, '97, '02, & '07 is September
28-30. The weekend will include a President's Tailgate Party prior to
Friday night's home football game on September 28, a Golf Outing on
Saturday morning September 29, Individual Class Parties that evening,
and a Mass and Brunch on Sunday, September 30. more
