The Senior Class Gift is a tradition of many Jesuit high schools and colleges, and an opportunity for our newest graduates to make the transition from students to Alumni.
It is both a chance for each class to make a lasting gift in honor of their time here, as well as recognize the generosity of those who came before them – who through their own contributions have given back to the school – helping to continue the legacy of Strake Jesuit and its mission and insure that future generations of students will be able to benefit from their own generosity.
The basics of the program are as follows:
- A leadership team made up of 2 to 3 representatives from each senior homeroom will be formed.
- All seniors will make recommendations for, and then vote on how to designate their class gift.
- Seniors are asked to make a monetary pledge of support to Strake Jesuit and their gift.
- Class members have four years in which to pay the pledge off.
- During that time they are not solicited for any other Alumni fundraising.
- Their payments each year are credited to their class’ contribution to the yearly Alumni Annual Fund.
