Basketball Try-Outs
Welcome to a new year in Crusader basketball. We are excited to announce the following information on try-out dates and requirements.
Students in Basketball PE and those that are not participating in a fall sport:
- 10/28- 5pm-6:30pm
- 10/29- Noon-1:30pm
Students who are participating in a sub-varsity sport:
- 11/4- 4:30pm-6:00pm
- 11/5- 8:00am-9:30am
Students that are participating in a varsity sport:
Important Information
- Student must have all completed paperwork on file with the athletic office (see Mrs. Johnson).
- Students must have proper athletic gear (basketball shoes, shorts, t-shirt, socks, etc.)
Only students trying out for the teams will be allowed in the gym, NO SPECTATORS (parents, friends, other coaches, etc.)

Important Information
Practice Schedule
All practices will end no later than 6:00pm
Freshman “Green” & Freshman “White”:
- No practice on game days.
- Saturday practices, coaches discretion.
- Mandatory practices/games during Thanksgiving and Christmas Breaks.
Sophomore:
- No practice on game days.
- Mandatory practices on Saturdays (if there are not any games).
- Mandatory practices/games during Thanksgiving and Christmas Breaks.
Junior Varsity and Varsity:
- Possible morning walk-throughs on game days.
- Mandatory practices on Saturdays (if there are not any games).
- Mandatory practices/games during Thanksgiving and Christmas Breaks.

Important Information
The program will have practices and/or games over the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holiday Breaks (none during mandatory UIL break). Players are REQUIRED to be in attendance.
