As "Rising Seniors" the class of 2014 will be welcome to attend "Junior Kairos" in the Spring of 2013. This Kairos can complete your retreat requirement for senior year, while also preparing the students to become leaders of future Kairos retreats. Please see Mr. Olson in the PMC if you are interested.

Junior Pilgrimage

This retreat will be a 1-day, 1-night "Urban Pilgrimage" in which the Junior class will continue their spiritual formation by following in the footsteps of St. Ignatius as a pilgrim. The students and faculty will begin the retreat at 3:00 p.m. on the SJ campus, and will be driven by SJ bus to the Retreat & Leadership Center. Here the students and faculty will spend one night discussing social justice issues and investigating God's presence in their lives. In the morning, the group will travel to downtown Houston to visit a homeless shelter and the Co-Cathedral. Faculty will guide the students through prayer and journaling throughout the retreat, allowing the students to look back and reflect on where they have been, and look forward to where God is taking them. The retreat will end at 6:30 p.m. after a prayer service in the Lahart Chapel of St. Ignatius.

Students not attending retreat are required to attend all classes.
