Kairos is a retreat led by students for students. Kairos is a 4 day, 3 night retreat. The talks and exercises invite students to experience God's love in their lives and to live intentionally in “God’s Time.” Adults accompany the student leader team and participate as support for the students. Those participating in Kairos will have plenty of time for personal and communal reflection, as well as journaling and community building exercises. Kairos provides students with an opportunity to examine their relationships with themselves, their family, their friends, and ultimately with God.
Senior Ignatian Retreat
On this retreat, students will be introduced to the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius through talks given by faculty leaders. The student will be given points of reflection as well as time to journal and reflect. Students will be asked to pray with Scripture and reflect silently, they will also have some time to share with one another in a small group. The aim of this retreat is to allow the student to reflect on his relationship with God as well as give him time to seek new types of prayer.
Graduate Silent Retreat
This retreat will take place after the Seniors have completed their final exams in May. Students will meet with Faculty to discuss prayer and reflect back on their time at Strake Jesuit. The retreat will open and close with Mass, and will include time for silent prayer and meditation. All seniors are welcome to attend this retreat, regardless if they have already attended Kairos or the Ignatian Retreat. Please see Mr Olson or Fr. Bravo for further details.
