Director of Admissions The Director of Admissions is responsible for representing Strake Jesuit to the public during the admissions process. In addition to supervising the admissions process, the Director of Admissions manages the registration of new and returning students, conducts and supervises various admissions events, and assists the Principal with enrollment management for the school. Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher, have a demonstrated ability to relate to and work well with others, and have excellent writing, speaking and communication skills. Advanced computer skills with an understanding of computer database management is required. The highly qualified applicant will have a personal history, knowledge and understanding of Strake Jesuit and a working knowledge of the Society of Jesus and Jesuit education. A qualified teacher with classroom experience is strongly preferred. Director of Counseling Applicants should possess a Master’s degree or higher, preferably in counseling, psychology, or social work. Significant experience in academic, personal, or college counseling is preferred. A strong work ethic, excellent organizational and leadership skills, and a desire to work collaboratively with students, parents, faculty and staff are important qualifications. A highly qualified candidate will have established relationships with college and university admissions representatives and have experience in one-on-one and group counseling settings.
Librarian Strake Jesuit College Preparatory seeks a creative, flexible, and innovative librarian who is able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced education environment. This position will coach faculty in assessing information technology needs and recommend suitable technology and research activities for curriculum, evaluate and implement emerging technologies for library services and staff and student productivity, and stay ahead of reading trends to maintain and build upon our community of readers. A minimum of three (3) years’ experience as school librarian with proven skills in supervision of library staff, development of library programming/curriculum, and management of library collection. A master’s degree (MLS or MLIS) from a program accredited by the American Library Association is the appropriate professional degree for school librarians.
