Strake Jesuit Football Important Information

     * Please check the Strake Jesuit website regularly for updates (time changes, cancellations, etc.)
     * Freshman:
          * Starting on August 13th pick up Mon-Wed will be at 5:00 PM
          * Lifting days will be Mon, Wed, Fri during 8th Period Football PE
          * Thursdays are Freshman Game Days
          * Fridays Freshmen will be done at the end of 8th Period Football PE (3:45).
          * FRESHMEN ARE OFF ON SATURDAY
     * Varsity/JV:
          * Starting on August 13th practice Mon-Wed will be over at 5:45 PM
          * Mandatory lifting days will be Mon & Wed from 7 -7:30am, and on Saturday at 10am
          * Thursday is JV Game Day
               * On Thursday the Varsity will be done at the end of 8th Period Football PE.
          * Friday Game Day
               * JV will be released at the end of 8th Period Football PE
                    * JV ARE OFF ON SATURDAY
               * Varsity will report to the locker room at 3:10 for Roll Check and Game Day Routine
               * Individual itineraries for each game will be sent out through the parent group weekly.
               * Post-Game: ALL players are required to ride the bus back with the team. If there is an
extenuating circumstance please contact me. An estimated arrival time back at school
will be placed on the itinerary.
               * Players are to report on Saturday at 10am for workout, they will be done at 12:30
          * Saturday Game Day
               * We have 4 Saturday Games this year. We will have itineraries for each game,
they will also be sent out through the parent group emails.
               * There is no practice on Sunday
          * Open Week, College Visits, Retreats, & Testing
               * The boys will be highly encouraged to schedule college visits & retreats during our open
week of Sept 17-22.
We will have regular practice that week, but we are focused in the effort of helping these
boys accomplish what they need to do in all areas.
               * Please let Coach Clancy know of any visits or testing that may cause an absence.

Hudl Video System Information

Dear Crusader Community,

I wanted to provide you with some information regarding our “Hudl” editing program. This is a internet based video system that we as coaches use to do the majority of our preparation and evaluation of game film. We are adding some new elements to our usage this year. We will be providing every family a Hudl “login”. This will be used for you to able to view your son’s game anytime, anywhere. We are hoping that this provides an additional opportunity for you to share time with your son, being a part of his football experience here at Strake Jesuit. Every team that competes will have their games filmed, and published to Hudl. This will also allow you to create highlights and send them to whomever you choose. You will find an enclosed form with registration information; we will handle the creation of your account for you.
