A Prayer for Vocations
Gracious God, Source of Holiness, we praise and bless you for the Jesuits who have been canonized saints and raised to blessed. By their powerful intercession and the anointing of the Spirit, raise up generous men today to heed the call of Jesus Christ who announced to all “Follow me.”
Give to the Society of Jesus men who are on fire for Christ and desire in all things to love and to serve.
We make this prayer in union with Mary, Mother of the Society of Jesus, and through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Xavier Club Dinner with the Jesuits
Seniors and Juniors are invited for dinner with the Jesuit Community at the Jesuit Residence. All meetings begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Jesuit Residence. Dinner will be followed by Conversations on topics such as: discernment, priesthood, community life, the life of the vows, prayer, Ignatian Spirituality, etc.
Kostka Club Pizza Lunch and Jesuit Conversations
All Freshmen and Sophomores are invited for pizza and conversations on vocation discernment.
Jesuit Days: TBA
During the school day, Theology classes bring their students to share with Jesuit Novices, Scholastics , Brothers and Priests a presentation on the history of the Society of Jesus and their personal Vocation Stories.
What’s In Your Heart? Day of Reflection
Open to all high school students and college age students. We will gather for Liturgy and prayer at our Strake Jesuit campus for a day of reflection.
Discernment Retreats in Grand Coteau, La., at the St. Stanislaus Kostka Novitiate.
