Online Course Selection
Your son will be submitting his course requests online for the 2013-14 school during the time listed below.  Please ensure that the course selection worksheet is completed and signed before your son’s scheduled time:
Class of 2016: February 12th during Math
Class of 2015: February 12th during Computer Science
Class of 2014: February 13th during Government
Make-Up: February 14th during lunch in library

Course Selection Worksheets
On January 28th, each student will receive a course selection worksheet during homeroom.  Each worksheet is specific to the grade level that the student is going into: Seniors, Juniors, and Sophomores.  If your son has any questions, he can attend one of the informational meetings in the Theater or schedule an individual meeting with his guidance counselor.  Once the courses have been filled in on the worksheet, a parent must sign and approve the selection.  All forms will be turned in to the teacher at the time of the online course selection.

Course Selection Aids
Course Offerings
The Course Offerings Sheet provides a one-page comprehensive list of courses offered for the 2013-2014 school year.  The courses are listed by number, name, and number of credits earned.
Course Descriptions
The Course Descriptions supplement provides the course descriptions and requirements for all of the available classes for the 2013-2014 school year.
AC/AP Requirements
Accelerated (AC) and Advanced Placement (AP) Courses are advanced courses offered to students who have excelled in a particular subject.  If a student wishes to be considered for enrollment in one of these advanced courses, he should first check the listed requirements in the link above.  If a student meets the requirements, he will then apply for acceptance into the desired course(s).  After all applications are received, teachers and counselors meet to determine which students will be enrolled in the AC/AP courses.  No final decisions for acceptance will be made until May.  For additional information, please contact your son’s guidance counselor.

Informational Meetings
Trip Norkus, Academic Assistant Principal, will hold informational meetings for each grade level to give additional information on the course selection process and requirements.  All meetings will take place in the Theater during lunch on the following days:
Class of 2016: February 4th
Class of 2015: February 5th
Class of 2014: February 7th
