PARENT GROUPS
Parent Groups are just that, they are groups that have been set-up for Parents that have a common interest, usually related to their son's activity (sports or other extra-curricular activities). The main purpose of these groups is to allow for more efficient communications with these groups that are specific to this shared interest.
These Groups can be either Open or Closed groups. Open groups, even though they may be intended for a specific group of parents, are open for any parent to join. Closed groups are specifically intended for a certain group of parents and, while anyone parent can ask to join the group, their membership will be reviewed and they will be accepted or declined for membership.
Listed here are the groups that currently exist within the Parents Online Community.
To join a group, click on the name of the group you wish to join. You will then be taken to the Parents Online Community login page where you will need to login to access the groups. Once you are logged in, on the Group's home page, click on the link in the upper right portion of the page that says Join Group. Additionally, if you wish to leave group because you son graduates or in no longer in that activity, you will need to login, go to the Group site, and click on Leave Group.
