 Strake Jesuit Basketball is a program that has a history of pride and tradition. The Program Mission of all involved with Strake Jesuit Basketball is that they be committed to success spiritually, educationally and athletically. In achieving the parameters of that success, there is an acknowledgment that the world outside the gymnasium is where true success and fulfillment can be found.
The basketball program here at Strake Jesuit has consistently sent players to varying collegiate levels of competition, from NAIA up to NCAA Division I. The Varsity program has been ranked by ESPN, the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches, the Houston Chronicle and numerous other recognitions by area news media. The program philosophy looks to instill a fundamentally sound competitive program from the freshman level up. Approximately 60 talented student-athletes participate each year on 1 of 5 teams that the program offers, which are; Varsity, Junior Varsity, Sophomore, Freshmen Green, and Freshmen White.
