 In the Jesuit tradition of cura personalis, or care for the individual, each member of the Guidance & Counseling Department strives to advocate for the students in every aspect of their lives. To this end, they collaborate and consult regularly with teachers, parents, and administrators to foster the academic, interpersonal, emotional and spiritual development of our students. Their goal is to help them grow into Men for Others, ready for the challenges of college life and beyond.
The department is comprised of counselors and an administrative assistant. In addition to group guidance presentations offered at each grade level, counselors meet individually with ninth graders at least once each quarter and tenth, eleventh and twelfth graders at least once each semester.
