Central to any high school education is teaching today's students how to gather and discern information for tomorrow's issues. The Moody Memorial Library, dedicated in 1970 and named in honor of Texas businessman and philanthropist William Lewis Moody, Jr., offers students
a place to retrieve both print and electronic information for the challenging academic program at Strake Jesuit. Jesuit students may also use the library for individual study, leisure reading, or group study. Resource materials available for our students include:

Rice University's Fondren Library provides Inter-Library Loan Privileges to our students. ILL allows students and faculty to request titles from the Fondren Library for use in the Strake Jesuit Library.

HAISLIN (Houston Area Independent School Libraries Network) provides the support of the other private schools in Houston.
Library Facilities
Moody Memorial Library facilities include large study tables, group study rooms, copy machine, and restrooms. The library building also houses the following facilities:
