Jesuit Cheerleaders
As representatives of Strake Jesuit, the cheerleaders' purpose and motivation is to promote and support the various athletic teams and to build spirit among the student body.
Beginning in the spring and continuing throughout the summer, the squads
practice cheers, chants and stunts in order to perfect their motions,
synchronization, and coordination which they will take with them to
cheer leading camp in the summer. Once school begins in the fall, the
squads practice three days a week to prepare for upcoming pep rallies
and the week's game.
