RETREAT SCHEDULE
Saturday, November 17
- Welcome and arrival by 2:00 pm Clay Center Atrium
- There will be Mass at 9:00 pm, in the Lahart Chapel of St. Ignatius for parents/guardians
- Departure and pick up at 10:15 pm, outside the Lowman Theater in the parking lot
Sunday, November 18
- Welcome and arrival by 8:45 am Clay Center Atrium
All Students will be staying overnight at school
Monday, November 19
-Closing and departure at 12:30 pm
SPECIAL NEEDS
- Please advise us of any special medical condition and/or any pharmaceutical or dietary needs that your son has that may require attention during the course of the retreat
WHAT HE NEEDS TO BRING ON SUNDAY
- a sack lunch (food will not be available for sale)
- a sleeping bag, pillow
- a change of clothes (as well as an extra pair of shorts, socks, athletic shoes, and a shirt)
- a pen or pencil
- Do not bring school back packs, cell phone, watches, iPods, laser pointers, games, toys, or the like
PARENT/TEEN EXCHANGE
- The Parent/Teen Exchange is on Saturday evening, November 18. Please arrive at the Clay Student Center Atrium no later than 7:15 pm.
-This is an opportunity for parents and freshmen to exchange ideas concerning teen-parent communication
- We encourage all freshmen parents to attend this great opportunity and share with members of the freshman class. - Parent participation is voluntary
- Parents will be assigned to a small group of freshmen
- Couples will be assigned to different groups. (The group will not include your own son)
- Upper-class group leaders will facilitate discussion and explain your role. No prior preparation is required on your part.
- Session will end by 8:45 pm
- Afterwards, you may attend a vigil Mass in the Chapel of St. Ignatius or you may return to the Clay Center Atrium to wait for your son who will be finished around 10:15 pm
