All classrooms at Strake Jesuit are multi-media equipped with ceiling-mounted data projector and speakers, SmartBoard interactive whiteboard, computer, DVD, VCR and access to SJET broadcasts. The system is controlled simply by a wall mounted touch-screen LCD panel that controls power, input, selection, VCR control,  volume control, etc. Each classroom computer is equipped SmartNotebook software that allows the teacher to capture anything written on the SmartBoard electronically, Internet access to a multitude of resources, Office Suite software and other software particular to the subject being taught (such as Geometer's Sketchpad for Math or Chime for Chemistry) or software included with textbooks.

Strake Jesuit's student computer facilities include two fixed laboratories dedicated to Computer Science (825 & 826), one dedicated to Foreign Language instruction (823) and one open lab on the second floor of the Moody Library for use by other departments. Each laboratory is equipped with thirty-one Pentium D workstations and 17" LCD panel monitors, a high-speed laser printer and/or color laser printer, a SMART Board and data projector for demonstrations and presentations. Additionally, there are three wireless portable notebooks carts dedicated to the science department, each containing 15 portable notebook computers for use in the Physics, Biology or Chemistry labs and classrooms. There are additional computers and printers available on both the first and second floors of the Moody Library available for use by students throughout the day. All computers on the entire campus are networked together with Cisco equipment so that information and data may be shared and the efficient use of hardware is possible. Each student has his own password-protected account and personal disk directory on the network, and these are accessible from any of the student computers on campus. Every workstation can access the Internet through a dedicated  DS1C connection, and the school maintains servers locally that host files and printers, MOODLE, NetClassroom, email, Art Museum and other databases.

The Computer Technology Department also supports school administrative servers, software and databases specific to the Principal, Registrar, Dean, Admissions, Guidance, Treasurer, Development and Physical Plant departments as well as a Cisco IP-based telephony system and voice dedicated PRI for the campus.

Location
The Computer Technology Office and the Campus Data Center are located on the second floor of 800 Building between the 825 and 826 computer labs on the northeast corner of campus.
