Admissions Overview
Strake Jesuit is a Catholic, private, all boys, college preparatory school for young men grades 9 to 12 that develops leaders in a spiritual, Christ-centered atmosphere distinguished by academic success, extracurricular achievement and service to others. Applicants should be academically prepared, willing to perform dedicated and consistent academic work outside of class every day, and be receptive to the various religious formation programs which are essential to the school's total program. Based on the inspiration of St. Ignatius, the founder of the Jesuits over 450 years ago, the goal of a Jesuit education is for each student to realize that he is called to be open to growth, intellectually competent, loving, religious, committed to doing justice and a Man for Others.
