COVID-19 Latest Information

Based on the current public-health conditions in our area, we will begin the school year in a remote learning model on Monday, August 17. We will remain in this mode of instruction through Monday, September 7. Class time will focus on synchronous education.

Orientation and Matriculation
Freshman Orientation will begin with a drive-through package pickup on Monday, August 10. All other Orientation and Matriculation activities will take place online between Tuesday, August 11 and Friday, August 14 for all grade. Students and parents will receive further personalized communication with detailed schedules .

Extracurricular Activities
All in-person extracurricular activities, including practices, meetings, and competitions, are suspended until further notice. As this is a continually developing situation, coaches, directors, and moderators of extracurricular programs will communicate further information to the relevant groups as needed.

The Strake Jesuit COVID-19 Committee has worked to develop the school's plans for operating during the COVID-19 health crisis. Based on guidance from the CDC, state of Texas, and Harris County, as well as local medical professionals, the plan outlines broad guidelines for instruction and school operations during these times.
