Among the seven athletes in this year’s class were six members of the 2018 football team. With a 10-2 record, it was one of the most successful seasons in the school’s history.

"These six players stand out because of their outstanding leadership,” said Klay Kubiak, head football coach. “Each of these young men exemplifies the work ethic, character and commitment necessary to achieve long-term success at the college level and beyond.

A member of the tennis team, Hao Nguyen, rounded of this year’s class. Nguyen was also regarded as a leader and reliable teammate. “Hao was never afraid to work hard to achieve his goals,” said Chuck Kenny, head tennis coach. “I fully expect his career at Trinity will be much of the same.”

Only 3% of high school athletes will move on to play a varsity sport in college,” said Crowley. "Seeing seven of our seniors here today, four of whom are headed to major Division I programs, is an extraordinary accomplishment for our athletic program and school.
