Dr. Harold Condara, JR. '76 (Chair)

Dr. Hal Condara earned his Doctorate of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston. He then completed his cardiology fellowship work at Baylor College of Medicine in the Texas Heart Institute program at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital in Houston. 
 
A renowned cardiologist, Dr. Condara has been practicing in Houston for the entirety of his medical career. He spent the first decade at Cardiology Associates at St Joseph Hospital, followed by over two decades at Memorial Hermann Memorial City. Most recently, he opened a private concierge practice, MD² Houston, where he can focus on his medical interests, including general internal medicine and preventative cardiology.

Outside of work, Dr. Condara has devoted himself to public and professional service at the national and regional levels. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the Harris Country Medical Society and the Texas Medical Association. He also served in a leadership role at the American Heart Association, Houston division and was the chairman of the cardiology section at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center.
 
In addition, for over 25 years, Hal has served in multiple capacities on the Strake Jesuit Board of Directors and the Art Museum Board, along with the Jesuit Volunteer Corp South.
 
Hal is married to Sally, and they are blessed with six children – and four (soon to be six) grandchildren in the Spring of 2023.
