Jesuit Sweeps Alvin Netters

Our doubles teams swept all their opponents, going 8-0.

Especially impressive was the Freshman dynamic duo of Dominic King and Sebastian Dasprez and JV Caleb Bryan and Enrique Velasco. Both won their 8-game pro-sets 8-0. In tennis lingo, this is called a “bagel.”

 

Our singles teams were headed for a sweep before a meteorological mercy rule took effect. Heavy rains rescued Alvin from the wrath of Jesuit Tennis.

 

Our guys did not let the success get to their heads and conducted themselves with exemplary sportsmanship and humility.
