Nine Strake Jesuit Students Named to TPSMEA Region 3 and Treble Choirs

Nine Strake Jesuit students of the SAA/SJ Mixed Chorus were chosen for the 2022-2023 Texas Private School Music Educators Association (TPSMEA) Region 3 and Treble Choirs! They are tenors: David Calderon ’25, Michael Latiolais ’24, Ethan Mendoza ’23, and Nicolas Puerto ’25, and basses: Charles Donnell ’24, Henry Jones ’23, Quinn Lesniak ’24, and Felipe Riascos ’24. Treble choir member is alto James Johnigan ’26. Of special note, Henry Jones ’23 is positioned as the first chair in the Bass I section again this year! These students were selected by audition from a pool of students representing twenty-one private schools in our region. Region 3 choir members will now advance to the judging for the 2022-2023 TPSMEA All-State Choir.
