What is the Auction?

Our Auction is a fun-filled evening with dinner, silent, big board and live auctions. There are also opportunities to participate in a raffle and register for sign-up parties. It is held annually every spring to raise funds for Strake Jesuit College Preparatory.

The Auction was first organized in 1981 to contribute financial support to the school’s operating budget. Today, proceeds from the auction not only help to grow the school’s general endowment providing resources for the future, but also enhance the current operating budget. Funds that we raise support programs such as financial aid, student retreats, athletics, teacher compensation and extracurricular activities. In other words, funds raised by the auction will benefit every student, every day at Strake Jesuit.

    These Underwriters will be recognized on a sign posted at a bar.
  • Auction Program - $3,000
    The Program Underwriter receives the inside front cover of the Auction Program for a full page ad.

  • Post-Auction Celebration - $2,500 [SOLD OUT]
    The Post-Auction Celebration Underwriter will be recognized on a sign posted at the entrance.

  • Entertainment - $2,000 [SOLD OUT]

  • Raffle - $1,500 [SOLD OUT]
    The Raffle Underwriter will be named on the full page color ad for the Raffle in the Auction Program and they have the option of including their company logo. This underwriter is also recognized on a poster at the Raffle.
  • Event Printing & Mailing - $1,500 (2 available)

  • Lighting & Audio/Visual - $1,000 (2 available)

  • Valet Parking - $1,000 [SOLD OUT]
    This Underwriter will be recognized on a sign posted at valet station.

  • Photo booth - $900
    This Underwriter will be recognized on a sign posted at photo booth.

  • Centerpieces - $800 (8 available)

  • Decorations - $750 (10 available)

  • Crusaders on Campus - $500 (3 available)

  • Heads or Tails Game - $500

  • General Underwriting
    Gifts of any amount are appreciated and will be used to offset auction expenses.

Auction Donations

Please consider making a donation to the Auction.

The auction offers a wide variety of items, and your donations of any size and type are greatly appreciated. Those hoping to support the auction can use our donor form or order online and ship a donation directly to the school.

Gift Registries

You can visit one of these associated stores OR simply order online from the registry (look up as: First Name: “STRAKE; Last Name: JESUIT).

Gift Wish Lift

Your donation need not be limited to the suggestions on the registries. Popular auction items include the use of vacation homes, tickets to sporting and theater events, high-tech gadgets, handmade items and jewelry.

  • Cash Donations

    Of course we NEVER turn this down and would be happy to purchase a gift on your behalf, sometimes allowing us to choose just the right item to complete a package or to help underwrite a trip. We will accept cash donations any time prior to our event.
  • Group Gift

    Collaborating with other families on a group gift is a wonderful way to participate.  Consider putting together a trip, a collection of fine wines, a night on the town – USE YOUR IMAGINATION!

Auction Store

These Strake Jesuit - Vineyard Vines items are available:  Ties, Bow Ties and Classic Totes.  When purchasing, either select 'Shipping' and we will mail your items to you, or you may pickup your items in the Hamilton Administration Building on campus during regular school hours.
