Mrs. Krissi Reid

Krissi graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Texas A&M, class of 1989. Upon graduation, she traveled and studied in Mexico and eventually moved there to open an export business that specialized in architectural items and textiles. This experience in purchasing and retail lead to the successful launch of a retail business in the Cherry Creek District of Denver, Colorado. She has been a Mom and community volunteer since moving to Houston in 1998. She is also an aspiring Master Beekeeper who enjoys gardening and cooking.  Krissi developed a passion for serving youth through 8 years’ service with the Junior League Houston and the impact that could be elicited through education and support. Krissi and Taylor are strong believers in Christian education and have been supporters of a number of Christian educational organizations including Strake Jesuit and The Presbyterian School.  Past boards on which Krissi has served include the Houston Museum of Natural Science and BEAR (Be A Resource for CPS kids). She currently serves on the HAY Center Board, which assists Harris county youth in foster care as they “age out” of the system. She is also on the Loyola Marymount Parent Council. Krissi and husband Taylor have 2 sons - Max (senior at the HUB High School in Houston) and Harrison ‘16 attends Texas A&M.  Krissi and Taylor chaired the SJ Sporting Clays challenge in 2014 & 2015.
