SAA/SJ Fall Play Agatha Christie's "A Murder Is Announced"

Buckley Theatre at St. Agnes Academy
Hailed as “A fiendishly ingenious murder mystery," this classic Christie whodunit hit will have you on the edge of your seat! An announcement in the local paper states the time and place of an imminent murder. When an unknown visitor to Miss Blacklock's Victorian home dies under the prescribed circumstances, Miss Marple turns up to solve the case. The talents of SAA and SJ students combine in performances at 7:00pm on October 2 & 3, 4:00pm on October 4, and 2:00pm on October 5 & 6 in the Buckley Theatre at St. Agnes Academy.  Ticket prices are tiered with special pricing for faculty/staff, students, and alumni. The special “pay-what-you-can” performance will return for this play at 2:00pm on October 5! Purchase tickets online now!

PSAT / Career Day / School Day SAT

There is no class on October 16, but other programming is scheduled for all grade levels.

Freshmen will complete the PSAT 8/9 test. This test provides a baseline and good practice for college admissions testing.

Sophomores will complete the PSAT-NMSQT. This test continues students' preparation for college admissions testing, while also preparing them for the junior year National Merit Scholarship Competition.

Juniors will complete the PSAT-NMSQT as well. In the junior year, this is a qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship Competition, with over $100 million in college scholarships available.

Most Seniors will participate in Career Day. Speakers from our parent and alumni communities will help students understand the career paths that interest them. Some Seniors are participating instead in the School Day SAT, according to instructions sent by the College Counseling Department.
