Mission Trips at Strake Jesuit
Strake Jesuit provides students the opportunity to extend their “education outside the classroom” through the many international mission trips it offers. Students serve in many capacities assisting in programs; from education and rebuilding efforts to community programs for sustainability and hygiene, working with and for an impoverished population. Students learn firsthand, the motto of being Men for Others through these experiences, putting others before themselves and learning about cultural barriers and similarities.

General Information for all Strake Jesuit International Mission Trips
The trips are tailored mainly for rising seniors with 1st priority but are open to all students. Students who are on Financial Aid can also apply; the amount of aid received for a mission trip will be proportional to your financial aid package offered by the school. Applicants must have a current valid passport by the time of travel (cannot expire within 6 months of travel) or must be willing to apply for one prior to travel.
Who Can Apply?
Open to all students, with priority given to seniors. Each mission trip earns you 100 hours of service credit upon successful participation in the entire mission of the program. There is a limit to the number of students per trip, given in each description.
