Varsity XC Places 4th at Pearland Dawson

The Cross Country team got their competitive season started early this morning at Pearland Dawson High School in their 2-mile invitational. We rested a few of our best varsity runners to keep them fresh for later in the season, but the varsity team that ran finished 4th led by senior Andrew Buettgen and junior Evan Fry in 4th and 5th. Rounding out our top 5 were seniors Luke Vandermeer and Alejandro Mejia and junior Andrew deMahy. We will make our full strength debut on Friday, August 25th at Friday Night Lights in The Woodlands.
