The Fighting Crusaders defeated the Alief Hastings Bears 20-14 on Thursday night. This brings the Crusaders record to 3-5 on the season (3-2 in district). The Crusader Offense controlled the tempo of the 1st half and was led by So. RB #22, Johnny Hebert with _____ yards rushing and 1 TD, Jr. WR #21, Luke Omanga with yards _____ receiving and 1 TD and TE Jr. #85, Hager Davis also with a TD reception. The Defense was tenacious all night long, playing fast and physical. They were led by Sr. DL #95, Jackson Priesmeyer with ______ tackles, Jr. DB #13, Otto Leone with ______ tackles and an INT, and Sr. #50, Austin Codwell with _____ tackles and 2 sacks. Overall, it was a great team win for the Crusaders. Next week they look to continue their winning ways and will travel down to Pearland to take on the Oilers Friday, Oct. 27 at 7:00 pm.
