SJ Golf Dominates Medal Stand

Both the Varsity and JV Golf teams earned some hardware this week, collectively taking home five medals across three events. First, on Monday, the Varsity team of Noah Kim, Connor Ayers, Nehal Othee, Lucas Gutierrez, and Preston Flowers shot 319 to place 2nd at Golfcrest. In the same event, the team of Sean Kao, Ethan Bradford, Jacob Leach, Evan Criner, and Alexander Pereira shot 321 to place 3rd in the 17-team field. Kim (77), Kao (77), Ayers (78), and Bradford (79) all finished in the Top 10 as individuals.
Also on Monday, our JV team of Ary Magon, Kyle Prati, Aaron Griggs, Felipe Hinojosa, and Will Gibney shot 314 at Gleannloch Pines, finishing 3rd out of 22 teams, just behind a Varsity B team from a school who shall not be named. Magon's 71 led the way for the Crusaders, earning him a silver medal as an individual for his efforts.
Finally, on Wednesday, the JV team of Fritz Hirsekorn, Carlo Nammour, Collin Burt, Eshaan Vakil, and Sutton Teltschik shot 362 to take home bronze medals at Jersey Meadow. Hirsekorn's 86 tied him for 4th overall.
Next up is our annual Sugar Creek Invitational, in which we will be entering FIVE Varsity teams (26 total players). Wish us luck as we seek to Hammer the Under!
