As part of the application process, Strake Jesuit requires that all applicants who are applying as incoming 9th or 10th graders take an entrance exam and submit their scores to the Admissions Office. Strake Jesuit offers and accepts both the Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE) and the High School Placement Test (HSPT). Incoming 9th or 10th graders can take either the ISEE or HSPT to fulfill their entrance exam requirement. The choice is yours! Please see below for more details about each exam.

Please note that students are not required to take either entrance exam on the Strake Jesuit campus.

Beginning in the 2021-22 application season (for the incoming Class of 2026), Strake Jesuit will only accept the ISEE. Those applying in the 2020-21 application season (for the incoming Class of 2025) may still take either the ISEE or the HSPT to fulfill their entrance exam requirement.
