Mr. Morris R. Clark

Morris Clark is retired after serving as Vice President and Treasurer of Marathon Oil Corporation.  He joined Marathon Oil in 2002 and was elected to his current position in January 2014.   Mr. Clark was previously appointed Assistant Treasurer in 2007.  

 

Morris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Southern University (magna cum laude), a Juris Doctorate degree from Tulane Law School (cum laude), and a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) from New York University School of Law. 

 

Morris serves in a leadership capacity with the following community based and educational organizations: University of St. Thomas, Board of Directors; Dress for Success Houston, Board of Directors; United Negro College Fund, Houston Leadership Council; Annunciation Orthodox School, Board of Trustees.  

 

Morris is married to Shauna and they are blessed with four children – Rick ‘17, Brooklyn (SAA ’20), Christian ‘25 and Julia.
