Mrs. Joy Posoli

Joy has been a community volunteer in the City of Houston for the past 25 years. She currently serves on the board of Child Advocates, Inc., where she served as development chair for the past two years. She is the secretary and a founding board member of the Houston Philanthropy Circle (HPC) and an advisory board member for the Dana & Christopher Reeve Foundation/Marco Fund. Joy has spent much of the past 15 years as a parent volunteer at her children’s schools. She served as development chair of the board of Annunciation Orthodox School (AOS) for seven years. She’s also an active volunteer for Strake Jesuit College Preparatory, St. Agnes Academy and National Charity League (NCL). Additionally, she manages charitable giving from the Posoli Family Foundation. 

Joy moved to Houston from Florida where she received her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and Elementary Education from Nova Southeastern University and her Bachelor's degree in psychology and elementary education from the University of Miami. Upon moving to Houston, Joy worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) at the Tarnow Center for Self-Management. She is currently employed at Small Steps Nurturing Center, working as a social and emotional support counselor for low income, pre-school aged children. 

Joy and her husband Paul have three children - Matthew ’18, Isabella SAA’21, and Michael ’22.
