Alumni Service Corps 2025-2026

Every year, Strake Jesuit welcomes back a small group of alumni who recently graduated from college and dedicate a year of service to the Alumni Service Corps (ASC). They live in one of the Jesuit residences, observe a class taught by a faculty mentor, teach one class, work on retreats and service projects, and are involved in various athletic and extracurricular activities. For the 2025-2026 academic year, we welcome Chris Casillas ’18, Trey Fuselier ’21, Miles Gillan ’21, Sean Lade ’21, Jack Swantkowski ’21, and Charlie Walker ’22.

Chris Casillas ’18 earned his bachelor’s degree in Music Industry from Loyola University New Orleans and his master’s in Screen Recording from New York University. He has played in many different bands, performed as a studio musician and on professionally recorded albums, and composed music for short films, video games, and documentaries, some of which have aired on TV or have premiered in acclaimed film festivals, such as DOC NYC. He is joining the Communications and Fine Arts Department.

Trey Fuselier ’21 returns to Strake Jesuit and is joining the Health and Physical Education Department. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Retail Management from the University of South Carolina. An avid fan of sports, he enjoys participating in intramural sports, competing with friends, and coaching his younger brothers. His future goals include taking the LSAT and becoming an attorney.

Miles Gillan ’21 joins the Social Studies Department after working for Forme Science, a posture transformation wearable company. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics and International Relations from Loyola Marymount University (LMU). At LMU, he ran cross country and competed in two West Coast Conference Championships (though he never had a coach quite like Coach Kerley!).

Sean Lade ’21 graduated from Southwestern University with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. At Southwestern, he served as a Biology Laboratory Teaching Assistant, mentored 1st and 2nd graders at Mitchell Elementary to help improve their reading skills, and interned at Treehouse Pediatrics. Sean is joining the Science Department and will assist with athletics. He aspires to use his academic background and experience in a future career in pediatrics.

Jack Swantkowski ’21 is also joining the Science Department. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and with a concentration in Medical Neurobiology. He hopes to attend medical school in the future. A fun fact about Jack is that he loves all things games: board, card, video, or otherwise, and looks forward to finding some worthy opponents.

Charlie Walker ’22 graduated from Trinity University in three years, earning a bachelor’s degree in Finance with a concentration in Investment Management. During his time at Trinity, he helped manage over 15 million dollars of the school’s endowment, directing investments in large-cap public equities. Charlie aspires to attend law school, where he hopes to combine his background in finance with a legal perspective.
