He was also a member of our top-ranked Quiz Bowl team. Jonathan will attend Rice University, where he plans to study bioengineering, but he also has an interest in astrophysics and neuroscience. He hopes to attend medical school and become a trauma surgeon.
Trey Fischbach enjoys integrating his Catholic faith with his interests in science and mathematics. He was a member of the Quantum Physics Club, started the Astronomy Club in his junior year, and revitalized the Programming Club with one of his classmates in his senior year. In addition to the science-based clubs, he was a member of the Sodality of Our Lady and the Frassati Society. Trey is a three-time varsity swimmer and participated in club swimming, where he served as a team captain for both. He was a Kairos Retreat leader, an altar server for school masses, and helped with several Jesuit swim meets as well as his club team. Trey will attend Rice University, where he plans to study physics and mathematics. He hopes that he will continue to pursue his interest in the sciences while staying strong in his Catholic faith.
