Dr. Peter Rodriguez

Peter earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Texas A&M University and his Master of Art and Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from Princeton University. He is dean of the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University. He is an economist and professor of strategic management and teaches classes on global macroeconomics and economic growth and development. Peter comes to Rice from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business where he was a professor, senior associate dean for Master of Business Administration Programs and chief diversity officer. Peter and his wife, Kathleen, have three children - Gabriella (Senior at James Madison University), Sam ’18 (freshman at Trinity University), and Michael (5^th grade at West U Elementary).
