Lacrosse Results vs Austin High School

The second game of the afternoon saw the Varsity Crusaders drop their home opener after a great showing in The Woodlands Mudslinger last weekend where they took second place in the tournament. Welcoming a host of fresh players to the Varsity side Sophomores Levi Norvell, Andre Nesic, Auden Griffin, and Christopher "Zeke" Rivera all made their varsity home debuts. Anchored by Seniors Hampton Pillsbury and Joseph Schaffer in goal with Juniors Cole Huff, Andrew Grimm, and Senior Ben Norvell at the base defense, the Crusaders saw 32 shots on defense. Two way midfielder, Junior Robert "Garrison" Rabalais scored two goals, Senior Kale Watts scored two goals Junior Sean Connolly scored one goal. 

Senior Joseph Schaffer was recognized with the season’s first Hard Hat award for his second half performance in goal for the Crusaders. Focused on being a dedicated, selfless, joyful, hard-working, teammate, the Hard Hat Award is given to those who demonstrate the phrase "well done is better than well said".
