SJ Lax vs Pearland

As the cold front rolled in, SJ Lax welcomed the Pearland Lacrosse team for their district opener. In a back-and-forth game which saw the Crusaders up 4 – 3 going into half, the SJ and Pearland entered the last three minutes of the game tied at 7. Unfortunately, the young men came up short with two quick goals from Pearland coming in the dying moments.

 

Goals came from Senior Attackman Jack Murrell (1), Junior Midfielder Carson Moore (1), Junior Midfielder Mason Moore (1), Junior Attackman Sean Connelly (1), Junior Midfielder Joey Sigler (1), and Senior Attackman Kale Watts (2).

 

Playing three different defensive roles, Junior Cole Huff won the hard hat as he demonstrated “well done is better than well said”.  

 

The Crusaders take on Kinkaid next Tuesday away.
