SJ Lax vs St. Thomas More

Hoping to finish our Spring Break trip with a winning record, the Crusaders traveled to Lafayette to play the St. Thomas More Cougars. After ending the first quarter scoreless, the Crusaders went into half time up 3-0. A complete team performance, with every player getting significant time on the field, the Crusaders finished their Spring Break trip with a 12-3 win against the Cougars. 

 

Being awarded the game ball, Senior Midfielder Kade Cannizaro not only saw the field for the first time this season, but scored on his first shot of his Varsity Strake Jesuit career. On a scramble play, Kade cut into space to score, with his teammates erupting from the bench. 

 

Awarded the Hard Hat, showing well done is better than well said, Junior Midfielder Carson Moore lead the team not only in goals, but in mentality. Leading the team after a slow game the day before, Carson kept himself and his team focused for the full game as they found themselves facing adversity early. 

 

The Crusaders return to action after spring break Thursday March 24 away against The Woodlands.
