SJ Lax vs Kingwood

Hoping to bounce back from two tough losses, the Varsity Crusaders traveled north to play Kingwood in a must win game for playoff seeding. Missing key players, the Crusaders took the field missing eight different players. The Crusaders jumped out hard to a 5-1 lead to end the first quarter that carried on through the half. Heading into the fourth the Crusaders were up 11-3. Weathering a flurry of goals to end the game, the Crusaders stood tall to finish the game with a 11-8 win.   

Senior Kale Watts was awarded the teams Hard Hat for displaying well done is better than well said. Asked to play a new position, Kale stepped up and helped the team to a win in a must win game.
