Ryan Lundvall ’17 becomes the Assistant Men's Basketball Coach of Pfeiffer University
Strake Jesuit alumnus Ryan Lundvall, Class of ’17, entered new chapter in his career by joining the coaching ranks of Men's Basketball as the Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Pfeiffer University. His journey to this role culminated with the completion of his Master's in Science of Leadership in the summer of 2023. Lundvall's association with Pfeiffer University started in the fall of 2021, when he became a graduate student-athlete for the Men's Basketball Team. During his time there, he utilized his name and likeness, establishing his own basketball training enterprise known as Playfast Personal Building.
Following his first and final year as a college basketball player, Lundvall transitioned into the role of Graduate Assistant Coach, playing a pivotal role in guiding the Falcons to the Conference Tournament for consecutive years. With a prior distinction as the Gonzaga Men's Basketball Head Student Manager over a four-year period, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management and Promotions, Lundvall's involvement with notable NBA athletes such as Rui Hachimura, Brandon Clarke, and Jalen Suggs resulted in an impressive record, securing three Conference Championships, a Sweet Sixteen, and an Elite 8 appearance.
Lundvall's dedication and knowledge extended beyond the court, having contributed to over 60 middle school, high school, college, and multiple Team USA Basketball Camps within the past seven years. Congratulations Ryan!
