The Strake Jesuit Community begins each day with prayer. Through SJET, our internal television network, students lead the community in prayers concerning particular needs of our community and concerning the liturgical seasons and feast days of the Church.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered twice a week in the Student Chapel. Students also participate in reconciliation services as part of their class retreats and as part of our Advent and Lenten worship. Students of other faiths are invited to share their reflections - in strict confidence - with a priest.
Communal worship is a vital dimension of the spiritual life of Strake Jesuit, the celebration of the Eucharist being preeminent. School wide Masses are celebrated on a monthly basis and several Strake Jesuit events are accompanied by the Eucharist, such as Father-Son Breakfast, Alumni Crusader Fest and Senior Ring Day. In addition to these special liturgies, daily Mass is celebrated twice each day in our newly renovated chapel.
