Back to School Dance and Social

Kick off a new school year at Strake Jesuit! Indoor and outdoor spaces provide for a variety of activities: music and dancing, lawn games, and socializing with old friends and new.

We invite Strake Jesuit students, and any young lady from an area Catholic high school. Young ladies from other area high schools may also attend who are friends with current Jesuit students — they must enter the dance with that student. Though many attendees are ninth-graders, high school students of any age are welcome.

 

$10 Admission –

• Online ticketing is available at the link above. After purchase, you'll receive a QR code by email to be admitted to the event.
• Alternatively, we accept debit, credit, tap-to-pay, or cash at the door. 
• All attendees should have a high school ID card ready at the door. In case you don't have a high school ID yet, bring a copy or screenshot of your school schedule, or another form of high school identification.

Concessions – We plan to operate concessions for drinks and snacks. Cash, card, or tap-to-pay are accepted. Water fountains are available at no cost.

Lock-in – Exit and re-entry is always prohibited. Lock-in is enforced from 8:30pm – 10:00pm: students will not be permitted to enter or depart during this time without parent communication to school personnel.

Dress Code – Attire must be in good taste, modest and appropriate. Cut off shirts, bare midriffs, backless or strapless shirts are not permitted. Students may wear pants or jeans, skirts, or non-athletic shorts worn at the waist and consistent with good taste, modesty, and propriety. Since this event includes outdoor spaces, please take the weather into account, and please wear flat shoes, as heels may damage the grass turf.
