Freshmen will continue building community in their Crusader Crew small groups, which will now become their Advisory groups for the next four years. Some of today’s programming will also focus on the academic skills to prepare them for their first several weeks in class. During matriculation, students will hear from campus administrators and take their yearbook photos.
From 12:00pm–1:00pm, the Dads' Club will host a hamburger cookout. (Students may bring their own food from home if they prefer.) Students may leave for home any time after 12:00pm, unless they have other plans on campus. Students who are having technical issues with iPads or digital books should visit the IT Help Desk in Moody Memorial Library between 12:00pm–3:00pm.
Freshmen should wear dress pants and shoes (as in the regular school dress code), with a button-down shirt and tie for his yearbook photo. See Community Life for guidelines.
