The Varsity Wrestling Team Opens Up it's Season in Clear Lake

The Strake Jesuit Varsity Wrestling squad traveled down to Clear Lake High School Wednesday Night for their first Duals of the season. The Varsity squad competed against Katy Taylor to start off the night with shorthanded roster and came out big with a 54-24 victory over the Mustangs. The Crusaders bounced right back as they went to take on the Clear Lake Falcons. It was a hard fought dual, but the crusader inevitably came up short with a 53-30 loss. Out of the 28 matches wrestled Wednesday night, 10 of them resulted in a pin for the Crusaders.
