Jesuit Wrestling Finishes 3rd in the Woodlands Elite Invitational

The Strake Jesuit Wrestlers continued competing in the Woodlands Elite Invitational Dual Tournament Saturday where after four more duals the Crusaders finished third overall. Pool play ended Saturday morning with wins against Katy Taylor and Terry. Sophomore Johnathan Nguyen secured his first Varsity win with a pin in the second period against Terry.

Going into the placement rounds, the Crusaders wrestled hard in the semifinal dual against Klein Cain but unfortunately fell short due to a vacancy in the lineup. The Crusaders also wrestled against the Woodlands for the second time this season but fell short against the Highlanders.
