Varsity Wrestling Places 4th in the Cypress Ridge 'Classic'

The Strake Jesuit Varsity Wrestling unit traveled to Cy-Ridge High School Friday and Saturday for the 19th annual Cypress Ridge ‘Classic’ where they placed 4th overall amongst the 34 teams invited. Sophomore Jackson Ham and Senior John Gabbanelli both placed first while Senior Colin Moore placed second. Junior Jack Bohnsack picked up points on the backside of the bracket placing 6th after 8 grueling matches over the course of the two days. Other SJ wrestlers competed at a high level, but unfortunately fell short over the course of the two days.
