Varsity Wrestling Wins First Home Dual of the Season

The Varsity Wrestling team competed in front of a home crowd for the first time this season as they took on the Summer Creek Bulldogs Wednesday night. Despite various changes in the lineup, the Varsity wrestlers came out strong with a 50-27 win against the Bulldogs. Seven varsity wrestlers came out with pins over the course of the dual. In his first match back since being injured, Senior Kent Stovall returned to the mat with a 16-7 win against his opponent. Stovall along with Sophomore Jackson Ham and Senior John Gabbanelli remain undefeated. The Varsity team’s dual record improves to 16-5 after tonight’s performance.
