Mr. John Varkey

John Varkey is Chief Information Officer for a Fortune 200 environmental services company. He has led technology teams across global energy, financial services, and technology-startup companies, helping them leverage technology to accelerate the business agenda. He is adept at using advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence, to drive bottom-line impact and has built cybersecurity programs to mitigate business risk.

 

John earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and his Master’s in Business Administration from Rice University.

 

John and his wife have two sons (Justin ’20 and Shawn ’22), a daughter, and a granddaughter.
