Mr. Chris Dewhurst

Chris Dewhurst is a Private Wealth Advisor at Merrill Private Wealth Management. Prior to joining Merrill, he spent over a decade as an investment representative at Barclays and Lehman Brothers. 

He received his MBA from the University of Texas McCombs School of Business and his undergraduate degree in Economics and Philosophy from Washington & Lee University. He holds the Certified Private Wealth Advisor^® designation from the Investments & Wealth Institute^™ (The Institute).

Chris serves as the Chairman of the Veritas Christian Academy Development Committee, Vice Chairman and Board Member of the Coronado Club, a member of the Finance Committee for Christ the King Presbyterian Church, and a member of the Utah Beach D-Day Museum Commission in Sainte-Marie-du-Mont, France. He formerly served as a trustee of the Good Samaritan Foundation of Texas, Vice Chairman of the Captain Andrew R. Houghton Foundation, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Veritas Christian Academy, and Chairman of both the Churchill Society and Wine Committee at the Coronado Club. A native Houstonian, Chris and his wife live in Bellaire with their three daughters and son.
