Vocations

Through pastoral counseling, spiritual direction, and retreat activities, the Pastoral Ministry Center and the Vocations Committee help individual students to discern what God’s unique call is for each of them. Furthermore, in collaboration with the Jesuit Community, the Vocations Committee seeks to promote vocations to the priesthood and religious life in a variety of ways:

· Vocation's Chalice - classroom prayer for vocations
· Lunchtime Adoration to pray for vocations
· Lunchtime speakers
· Mass for Vocations
· Jesuit Days to learn about Jesuit Life
· Lunch/Dinner at the Jesuit Residence
· Retreats (dates TBD)

The Vocations Committee is a group of faculty members, both lay and religious, who are present in the Strake Jesuit community to foster and support religious vocations among the students. The members of the committee are:

Jeff Johnson, S.J.
Tommy Romano
Jon Polce, S.J.
Gabriela Granados

Please join us in our mission to pray for vocations as a means to awaken young men to the Lord's call in their life to labor in His vineyard as a priest or religious.

"St. Stanislaus Kostka, pray for young men discerning their call from You."
